We’ve used this since our baby was newborn. The fold-away hip stool is a game-changer when he wants to look around. Makes breastfeeding a bit more discreet. A bit bulky when fully assembled, so may not be best for very tight city buses.
From nap-time through grocery runs, this carrier handles all. The hip-seat is surprisingly sturdy, not floppy. Fabric is easy to wash but I wish the color choices were more varied.
I’m a father who often carries our 2-year-old; this carrier helps avoid shoulder strain. The back carry mode works well once baby can sit upright. On very long hikes, though, it starts to feel heavy — but that’s probably true for any carrier at this age/weight.
Seat position keeps baby’s hips in a healthy ‘M’ shape.
Stool detaches easily — convenient when baby just wants lap carry.
